King Cole Ducks Ltd. invites you to rise, shine, race and cook... all in one spectacular from "Farm to Fork" competition for Ontario's finest, fastest, fun loving culinary students.

TIME: Crack of Dawn to Dusk...a farmer's day!
LOCATION:
Start - King Cole Duck Farms, Newmarket, Ontario
Finish - Kitchen Labs, George Brown College, Toronto, Ontario
THE EVENT:
You and your teammate will start "The Great Amazing Duck Race" at the crack of dawn picking up duck eggs, making breakfast with your duck eggs, racing to the main farm for a CYOD (cut your own duck ) competition, running out the door with 'Duck in Pot', to race via subway to a secret location in downtown Toronto, before ending up in the culinary labs of George Brown for the final cook off.
DEADLINE: Midnight, February, 2012
CRITERIA:
- Ten Top Reasons we should choose your team for The Great Amazing Duck Race
- Reference letter from College
- Duck recipe as per competition instructions
The Race is open to 10 teams of two 2nd year culinary students, one team per college. If space becomes available, a second team per collage may be selected.
The Prize:
1st Prize: $1,000 per competitor
2nd Prize: $500 per competitor
3rd Prize: $250 per competitor
